Book Review: The Happy Crab by Layla and Kevin Palmer
What a delightful children’s book!
I usually don’t review children’s books, but this one caught my attention. I just couldn’t resist the big smiling crab on the front cover and the description on the back cover that says: True happiness comes from putting others first
I am glad I chose to read this story about Happy the little crab whose adventurous spirit gets him into a bit of trouble.
Based on a true story of a family’s trip to the beach, this inspirational story has a great lesson for children as well as parents.
The book is also full of beautiful illustrations that will catch a child’s eyes as well as its inspiring message.
It is listed as Juvenile Fiction and I think it would make a great gift for a young reader, especially one who loves the beach or the sea.
I was given this book by Bethany House, a division of Baker Publishing Group, in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and comments are my own.
