Book Review: “Braced For Love” by Mary Connealy

“Braced For Love” by Mary Connealy is Book One in the Brothers in Arms series and after reading this first book I cannot wait to read the next one!

If you enjoy romantic cowboy fiction that’s filled with realistic characters, action, surprises, and humor then you will enjoy Mary Connealy’s books.

In this book we meet three brothers, Wyatt, Kevin and Falcon, who had no idea they had brothers. They all have the same father, but beyond that they never knew each other existed, until their father died and left each of them 1/3 of his ranch.
As it turns out the father led a pretty scandalous life as he had wives and sons in different parts of the country that no one knew about.

This causes many problems in each of brothers lives as you can imagine, especially since each of them had a different views of their father and each of them live different kinds of lives from one another.

Add to this mix, a rough tough kind of crazy step sister, Cheyanne,  and her best friend, Winona, who’s almost as rough and tough but is a schoolteacher, who is hiding a secret from her past, and Kevin’s two step-siblings, Molly and Andy, who are orphans that he is raising.

And if that is not enough to spark your curiosity, there is also a mysterious gun man or two that seem to be out to kill all the brothers for some reason.

This book will surely capture your attention at the first page and keep you entertained until the very last page.
You will most likely try to figure out what will happen next as I did, but you will find there are a few twists and turns that you don’t expect that will lead you on paths that are most interesting and surprising.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys reading Christian Fiction Western Romance.
